The range of building types encompasses
churches, park buildings,
large and small houses and institutional buildings.
We have experience of dealing with historic
buildings from
medieval period right through to the late twentieth century and enjoy
the
challenges set by buildings with complex histories. We believe it
important to
integrate the evidence contained within the fabric of the buildings
with the
documentary evidence relating to the building and its uses; wherever
possible
we undertake this research work ourselves.
We work within a network of consultants from
other disciplines and
can readily access quantity surveying, landscape architecture,
structural engineering,
services engineering, planning supervisor, conservators and
archaeological
consultancy advice.
Historic buildings are owned by a wide variety of organisations and individuals. Our clients have included English Heritage, the National Trust, local authorities, Anglican, Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches, Stoke Park Club and the Churches Conservation Trust.
